You're prefectly right: I don't. But I prefer eating at an establishment where the proprietor isn't going to bawling at his staff and Michel Roux cuisine in firmly very French provincial, whereas Ramsey messes with his recipes as seen in The Times'.

Another excellent restaurant is Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.

I like Chef Ramsey. He's worked hard to where get to where he is now. Yes, the man screams and curses, but it makes the people working in his kitchen work harder and better as a team. His underlying reasons, I believe, for screaming at them like that is this: The people on his show are there to become an executive chef at one of his restaurants. Chef Ramsey has a reputation to uphold and it can't be tarnished. If he gets pissed off easily and screams, the people he's trying to get to work in his restaurant will 1) Work to please him, as they would still have a higher power to please, along with the customers. 2) These people throw their differences aside and work together as a team. Seeing as how the winner will be working with a team of his/her own.

How can you say you hate his food, and food establishments, if you've never eaten at one? Yes, it's expensive, but it's not supposed to be an every night thing. It's something you can enjoy once in a while with friends and/or family. The restaurant on his show, Hell's Kitchen, is only open when he's shooting his show. And no one says you have to eat solely at that restaurant. He has plenty of places where you can dine; and it's not like he's going to be in the restaurant you choose screaming at everyone who messes something up. He's not a total asshole, he's a guy who works hard to get the best people for his business. If you don't cut it, you're out.

Don't be so hard on someone who you don't know anything about.

Depends on if you choose a five course lunch or dinner, or if you're staying a weekend or having a week's break because the menu prices vary. Like their menu du Jour Luncheon starts at £65 pp

My girlfriend and family have stayed over a weekend. But the prices are high, though the cuisine would give Ramsey's cheffing a good caning.

Right or wrong in your eyes Missy, I will be hard, and indeed will cut my losses and choose to eat where I shall jolly well wish. All fine and acceptable is your view as is any other member's here, but when one is paying the piper, one calls the tune.

Gordon Ramsey hasn't exactly had a squeeky clean business record. If you go Googling...
