I'm already looking after and riding two nutcases and just taken on my third

She's a 12 year old 13.2hh cobby type ( over weight at that ) called Little Lady.

She's had abit of a bad past a man bought her for his wife and sadly his wife died :( So he loaned her out to another lady who after 2 months found out she had cancer :(.

So my local riding school took her on, to save her being stuck in a field getting fat and lonley, as the man didn't want to sell her because his wife loved her so much.

She's mainly a hacking horse ( out on roads that sort of thing)

So Iv'e been asked to take her on set up a bond and try and make her settled and happy.


Saying that I rode her for the first time yesterday..... I fell off plastic bags
are very scary things.

But I love her because she tries everything I ask she throws her whole heart into even if she can't finish what I asked.

Before you go for a ride with her, walk the route you plan to take to ensure that no plastic bags are within the vicinity.

Planning + Preparation = No falling off horse = No sore bum.

Hahahahaha That plastic bag wasn't on a hack tho it was in a tree in the arena I might have to climb the tree

Hopefully so I don't know wether it's possible for a horse to be depressed but she looked it when she first arrived.

Just alittle update for anybody whos cares..


The little bugger yesterday broke her bridle, how I do not know it could be alot worse though I thought I might be trying to save up for a saddle as well.


The story was she threw me off...... AGAIN, got her legs all tangled in the bridle while pulling to get free, the whole thing snapped. That's the problem with shitty bridles, then she decided it would be great fun to roll in her saddle.

I just closed my eyes and waited for the crunch, nothing happened so the fatty isn't that fat
