Can someone explain to me why it's soooo popular? I hate the series and I think it's ridiculous!

I honestly have no idea. The books were alright.
The movies are TERRIBLE though! The actors are just so... wooden. It's like everything is super awkward all the time.

I made it through the first 20 pages of the first book, haha. Waste of paper.

I agree on the movies. I was forced to go along with a family friend's daughter and her entourage to see the second one.

The second movie and the second book are just horrible. I got half way through the second book and skipped to the next one. It was so boring! D:

I only watched the first one and that bored me to death so i didn't bother watching the rest.

I've seen the parody movie called "Vampires Suck" That was alright. Kinda said what we were all thinking xP

I've read a couple of the books and I really like them! but I really don't want to see the movies, at least until I've finished the books, cause I've heard they're terrible and it would ruin the books for me. But I think they're good, I really didn't want to read them cause I thought they'd be boring, but they were the only English books they had in the shop on holiday. I ended up reading the first two in one day. But I suppose its a matter of opinion.

Young people like stories like that one and that's the reason of the popularity of Meyer. But I think it's ended. I haven't heard about Twilight for the long time.

I adored the books and the films are great. I really love the whole idea that someone has had a go at changing the image of vampires. I love the way it's written and the films are exciting ;_;
I'm definitely a fan. (and Muse is on the soundtrack <33333ffffff)
