Right so basically I've been proposed to go on a trip to Nicaragua in central America (was actually meant to be Guatemala) to go on a sort of adventure but at the same I'll be doing different projects with the others in my team to help people who live in poor conditions or children that live in orphanages. We'll also be helping the different towns and we'll be staying in peoples houses instead of hotels.
I'm thinking it's a really good thing to experience plus it'll benefit me in many ways. But I still wanted to ask you guys what you think and if you would do it?
I mean I think I'm a bit nervous about being away from home for a month but at the same time it looks great..
Also have any of you guys on here done anything like this before?
Thanks.
Need any 1-1 help? PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP.
R.I.P Shiloh Moore, I love you and miss you.<3
I will never be able to explain to anyone how much
you meant to me.

I think you'd be crazy not to. Id die to have an opportunity like that.
From joy to sorrow, yesterday to tomorrow, you've been there. Friends like you are rare, your touch is so gentle,
You're my guardian angel.
Like a blossoming flower spreading your wings in grace, filling my heart with power
by feeling your embrace.
Wherever the wind may blow, we will overcome this war, in times happy or sore, I will never let you go.
With a gentle warm heart and a will of stone, We'll never be apart, You'll never be alone. - John <3
And yeah guys I know, I am gonna go. I'm just asking if you'd ever go and if anyone has done something similar so I could ask for a bit of advice.

I've done similar things in the Philippines and Indonesia. It really is a great experience. Definitely recommended to everybody and anybody. It's kind of one of those life changing experiences that people talk about. I found that it makes things easier when you know a fair amount about the local culture, customs, language and traditions. It makes the transition easier and I think takes a bit of the culture shock out of the whole thing (although, there's always going to be a fair amount of that). That just makes things go easier overall. I found that the people I met were some of the most amazing people I have ever met and I learned alot from each of them. Yet, some of the people I was working with didn't get to know them. Which was too bad. Ahh.. Now I wish I could go do it again.
@darkness_prevails I had a feeling you did it! How weird. Thanks for the advice.
