Honestly, drinking is only fun when you're with people. Even then, I rarely allow myself to become too intoxicated. I prefer to be aware (to prevent dicks being drawn on my face) and to remain in control of myself.
But, I dunno. Intoxication is a bit of fun; but sobriety has the ability to deliver the same amount of fun, if not more, in its own way.

sometimes we put up walls , not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to knock them down.
I have no problem with drinking, but people go out juuust to get fuccked up.
Its our culture. We don't know how to go out and have a drink without the inclination to get as drunk as we can. Young people in our society don't go out to have a drink, they go out to get fucked up.
I haven't figured out 'why' though.
