I never understood it. Having a pair of testies makes you....better? Superior? I dont know what word to use, but it makes no sense of having balls to make you different. Did they get it from dogs? Cuz if you cut off a dog's balls, they're less crazy and easier to tame.

It's a metaphor: Men are stereo-typically more courageous than women, who are portrayed as precious and in need of protection. A men with "balls" per say is courageous enough to protect a woman and also brave enough to make a move to try and attract another woman.

Not very complicated if you ask me. It has to do with having a strong masculine presence. Alot of women find it attractive, ya know.

lol no. Balls signifies that you're a man, so saying "Strap on a pair" is like the saying "be a man".


So balls symbolise masculinitly. And all of the traits a man (that dominating confidence in particular) is covered under 'balls'.

Therefore, balls indirectly sybolise confidence.

Testosterone, it starts to increase during puberty and reaches its peak around age 22, testosterone is what makes men men.

If you castrate a dog its testosterone levels fall drastically, so it becomes more tame and a wimp against un-neutered dogs.
