Its been awhile since I've read this thread. So, my thoughts on it have changed.

At the start of this thread I was firmly against the "community vet" having the ability to close their own thread... I am okay with this ability, now. As, Apple has stressed these people would be trustworthy, etc.

However, what I have stopped supporting.... the Rep power increase. The impact a members rep has on another is determined by how much rep they have accumulated. So, in a sense they have earned their rep power. I think its a more fair model and I don't see a need to disrupt it.

Most likely we can begin seeing these things implemented within the near future.

I highly disagree with the closing threads IMO. Even if we're all "trusted" it's still going to cause trouble and some people can still be very immature about things, hell we're all practically still teens.

We'll all have different views on the features and instead of pushing the argument back in forth I think it'd be better to get members to vote, AFTER they've decided to even go through with the fab' idea that everyone wants.

In my old age I tend to lose track of things.

We'll try this out on a trial basis to see the response it gets and how well it fits into the flow.
