That I stole from another site. Because I'm downright devious like that.
My malevolence aside, I think a "teenforumz anonymous confessions" thread could be interesting.
basically it works like this. There would be an anonymous e-mail client posted that any member of Teen Forumz could use to e-mail a personal, anonymous confession to an address devoted to collecting said e-mails. The anonymous confessions would then be posted in the thread by someone assigned to check the anonymous confession inbox.
It would be a chance for members to anonymously vent/rant/confess something /seek advice without having to worry about affecting the impression that people around the boards have of them.
some individuals may be curious as to what others would think, but want the unbiased opinion that comes with anonymity.
it's different from an anonymous support system in that, while individuals may or may not be seeking advice, it can also be used just to air things out and or gauge the general forum population's attitude/opinion on whatever. some people use it to post poetry/songs anonymously.
of course, abuse of the system would not be allowed. offensive e-mails directed towards other members will not be posted.
Do you guys think it's a good idea? if so then I could set up the anonymous mailing account/ system.
