Need a hobby or something
So basically I spend my time either at college or at home. When I'm at home, I sit at my computer, visiting forums, playing video games...you get the idea.
But I want to do something with my life, I just don't know what. The town I live in has nothing to do, with the only things to do being the gym or tennis, and neither of those would be beneficial to me so it would be pointless doing them.
I just have no interests what-so-ever, other than computers. I have no skills or talents so I can't just start a hobby for one of those. I wouldn't mind learning to play an instrument, but I can't afford the lessons, I lack the patience to teach myself, and I can't see myself ever improving. Wouldn't mind taking drama classes as I'm interested in acting, but I lack the confidence to do so.
So, yeah, suggestions for a pathetic kid like me? xD
EDIT:
Preferably want suggestions on a hobby which requires me to go somewhere, though ideas for "at home" activities are just as appreciated. I want to meet new people near my age, hopefully build up my confidence a bit. The last "hobby" I had was target shooting, but there was only one person my age and he left (the rest were 60+ years old).

Art.
Any form of it. Working with clay can be relaxing and fun at the same time.
Plus you don't have to be good at it.
If you've seen modern art... you know what I mean.
I always did love clay, despite not being good at it.

Good idea!
Should have mentioned this in the original post, will edit if I still can...

Also, I occasionally do graphics design, but that's on a computer so doesn't really help much. :(

Community centers are a great place to go to meet new people.
Quite normally they have a variety of fun activities.

Re: Need a hobby or something
I am in the same position as you are, I sit at home doing basically **** all. I hate it, I want to be able to go out and do something, you know?
So, recently I decided to have a brainstorm and come up with some ideas. I'll share them with you!
You could always:
Go for a run every now and again.
Write.
Draw, paint, create. Let your imagination run wild!
Take up photography, it's fun and gives you a way to look back on things.
You could always get a part time job, that way you'll be able to earn some money and fill up your spare time. Once you start earning money, you can then start to do more and more things.
I'm sure you get the idea. There are plenty of things you could be doing, you just need to find what you're interested in and what you find fun. Hope I've helped.

Thanks for sharing your ideas. It's sorta comforting to know that there's someone out there in the same situation. I wouldn't be like this if my friends weren't too ignorant to ask me out once and a while. Ah well.
Yeah, I've been thinking of getting a part-time job. Will probably get one soon. I might meet some people at work; then again I might not.
The other ideas are good also.
Thanks again
