don't worry about it people should like you for who you are and plus if people are making fun of you just ignore them. If they are or were your friends i would say they aren't your friends if they so go out and make new ones the only way you will overcome this fear of people is by going out and meeting people

I used to be exactly the same but for some reason I don't mind now... used to hate being on my own at anytime :/

anyway, i think you should try to move on, maybe start by going out with friends, then work up to going by yourself. just know that you are beautiful in your way (and i'm sure to others too). if you gain more self esteem, other's cruel comments won't bother you so much.

ok i think you need to start to believe in yourself a bit more
you are ok youre amazing in fact
you need to think positive thoughts and that will make everything easier
if you dont like going out and showing your face
dress like your someone else feeling like your not yourself
try wearing make up - not to much as it makes you look plastic
it helps you to come out of your skin
i think if its the summer you could wear a sun hat and sunglasses
then youll get more confidence
