Recently I have undergone a few changes. I began wearing band t-shirts and I've been really into writing and playing music all the time. I'd like to say that my style is "punk", but i hate labels. I feel so different and isolated from everyone at school. Literally every girl in my school are like copies of eachother. They all wear abercrombie, juicy, hollister etc., they all have mac or sephora makeup, they all listen to justin bieber taylor swift and other various pop music and they all love romantic comedies and hate anything that takes brains to understand (reading, suspense movies ect). i hate wearing things with brand names plastered on them, i dont care where my make up comes from, i listen to classic rock metal punk and ska music i like horror movies i am pretty much the polar opposite of every girl in my school. I hate them, almost everyone of them, to be honest. i dont understand how they live with themselves, they all do things just to be the same or fit in. i am mostly friends with boys i find them easier to deal with then girls they seem very simple and we like similar things i dont get to hang out with them tho because they have "guys nights" i feel very alone and i feel like noone can relate to me and i cant relate to anyone else. i dont know what to do. please help me.

it's okay to have a different style.. you don't have to be like they are just to fit in. just be yourself. if you like who you are then send the others to hell

Its fine if you have a different style, you shouldnt change for anything! just be happy with yourself and what you like. Its not like you should hate them just cause they wear hollister etc. if they are happy doing it then let them be. Also it is totally not true that you cant hang out with them, of course you can. My group of friends is like a total variety (so yeah sometimes we have problems deciding on a movie lol) but it doesnt mean you cant be friends. Its ok to be different.
Also i know you may see them as totally the same, which i completely understand, i get the whole everyone just being like each other thing, but trust me, they wont all like the same style movies, i can guarantee you someone would like some music you listen too or like some of the same films, its just that maybe they like the in music/films too if you get me.
So please dont feel isolated and alone, just try and get to know some people otherwise you might feel lonely. You might have to sit through some crap films for it, but just make them sit through some films you like, friends would do that x

Do what ever you like - who gives a shit if you don't fit in? You seem to hate fitting in but also it seems you want to fit in? If anything, go be what ever suits you best.

well, if I'm honest, I'm very like the first girls you described.However that's not particularly important. You shouldn't care what others think, though if you're beginning to feel lonely, I'm sure not ALL the girls are the same. Try asking your guy friends if they could introduce you to some girls they know out of school? and then meet up with them in evenings etc. But one point- have you actually tried talking to the girls that you have seemed to judge already? XXX

I totally agree with them, you do not have to fit in and be like everyone, because to thats so boring. So what if they dont like you or talk about you, your'e being yourself and thats all that matters. I had to laearn that my self over the years, i still want to fit in. but i know i will never be one of them so i just go with my own flow. =]

honestly i don't think anyone is normal i don't know where i heard it but normal is just a cycle on a dishwasher everyone is different. Sadly everyone stereotypes and it sucks at times but sometimes its okay i mean if we didn't stereotype the nerds and jocks and everything movies wouldn't be ask good because tons of movies are based on stereotypes
