so how are u guys dealing with it? are you living a normal life? how has it affected your life? what did it make you do?what type of bipolar do you have type 1 or type 2?? do you know who you are? have you been sent to any kind of clinic or hospital?

ye um ok well im seeing a psychiatrist which if you dont know work's with your mediction. no not really. it made me go insane had a manic phase and my sex drive inceased so did a couple of one night stands and fwb and had a bf for a month and a bit or maybe it was two weeks cant remember but im lucky im still a virgin. and had racing thoughts, i was going from one thing to the next and making a complete fool of myself! then broke down into depression attempted suicide and then after a while went manic again! my huge high of my episode of manic was in 2009 and they only diagnosed me in jan 2010. i missed a huge amount of school i have been to a few school. i have type 2. no i have no idea who i am.well maybe a bit but ye.yes i have been to a clinic. its hecktic and intense going through these episodes hope to hear your answers aswell

Gabriella, relax, it's okay. I wish I could be more active, I really do. But I've not been able to get to a computer.
So I'm sorry for not responding.. And I'm glad that you told me about yourself. (I mean that).
I once thought I might have had bipolar.. But quite different. No peroids of mania, and I suffered from a severly high sex drive, I was also overly self-conscious.. I ended up seeing a psychiatrist (which didn't help a single bit).. However I didn't get any sort of medication, I could've used it for my depression though. But I'm over it now and if I had medication maybe things would have been different so I'm glad I didn't. I also missed a lot of school.. At the most crucial year as well.. While I was taking my exams.. I wouldn't recommend doing that.
But anyway.. I don't have the condition (although if you were to describe me in those terms I'd probably be a "type 2 depressed psychotic" >_<) I wish I could give you the information you want but alas I can't. It is fascinating though. I will be doing some research.

What do you mean? That the phase I went through was ordinary?
Maybe the symptoms were ordinary.. but not the severity of them.
I never really got a good explanation for what happened to me..
At least you know what you have and why :/
I think my brain chemicals are slightly off balance or something.
But anyway, I'm 17 years old. And yourself?
