i just got a boyfriend.......... but im scared of what my parents will say! when i was 11 i had one thye said it was innapropriate.......... but now im 13......... what do you think they will say if i tell them and how should i ?!?!?

Well, I agree with them a bit, 11 is a really really young age for a relationship, in my opinion so is 13.
I mean your just entering your teens, most people only have a relationship by the age of 16 or around it. And is your bf also 13?
Do you actually feel the need to have one, or is it peer pressure?

Well, are your friends having relationships too?

It's good to know the feelings are genuine, but are you looking for a casual relationship? Because I highly doubt it would be good to have a very serious relationship at your age.

First of all, welcome to Teen Forumz.

Doniv gave good advice.

I say take it slowly. There's no rush - you have years of being a teen yet. Get to know him, ask his interests. Have fun and don't go too deep too quickly.

Well, by serious and deep, I think I mean that you shouldn't really look too much into the future; marriage or kids or anything, well not right now anyway...

I don't want you to think I am discouraging you, but if you feel comfortable and are having fun, then by all means, be happy. But tell your parents, I'm sure they'd know if the time is right for you more than anyone else

but its just when iwas 11 my mum was like tellign her friends and everthing....... i dont really want that ......... but they seem erfectly cool about my brother having one when we was 14/15 so what do you think t hey will say?
