Alright so last night me, my friend, his step brother, and there friend were hanging out and they started smoking cigs (I already knew he did this kind of stuff) so I decided to try it, didn't like it, so I didn't think anything of it. Not addicted or anything, nothing wrong with trying.

Then we smoked weed with a shitty homemade bong and shit was SO cash. I couldn't stop laughing until midnight and we were high as fuck (we all took like 7 hits, 3 of mine were HUGE)

Anyway, I AM NOT ENCOURAGING USING DRUGS! Please heed that warning, it's illegal. But I do have a question...

How much weed is to much? I am not thinking of doing it again for awhile but I personally don't think weed is bad for you... Of course cigarettes are and I didn't like it anyway, but weed? Isn't it used medically as well?

I'm sure there are some of you who know this so any help would be appreciated.

Once again, I am not encouraging any use of any drugs, make sure you have appropriate knowledge before trying anything. Don't get into any trouble and you're good!

It really isn't that bad for you. It can't kill you but you can get addicted, but cigarette addiction is far worse. I do it pretty much every single day and I've been doing it for over year and I realized it made me reeeaally fucking lazy and it's been really effecting my grades (my grades are horrendous and before I started smoking, they were decent). But those are really the only bad side affects unless you care about how healthy your lungs are.

i personally think any kind of drug use is dangerous even if you dont want to get addicted it sounds like you are starting to go that way
i think you should be very careful
remember that drugs such as weed are illegal for a reason

This is a tough one, and I commend you for presenting it as you did.

Everyone needs to make their own choice when it comes to drugs, be they cigarettes, alcohol, or street drugs like MJ or cocaine, etc. And everyone has a different opinion, usually based on their own choice. This is not surprising, but it makes it difficult to make a decision for yourself. What you want are facts, not opinions..and often it's hard to tell the difference.

I'd suggest you search around some reputable, medically based web sites...there's a lot of good data out there on the physical and emotional risks of drug use.

Everyone needs to be able to make their own decisions when it comes to drugs of any sort.Prescription,street drugs,alcohol,tobacco etc.
Some of these are worse for you than others, but all of them have their pros and cons.

I myself refused to try weed until my senior year of high school, I tried it with my cousin.
Since then I have had periods where I would do it a couple times a week,such as before I moved away to college. It was just a good social thing for me I suppose.
Since college, I've done it maybe a couple times a year at the most and IMO, that's perfect for me.

Weed has no addictive substances in it, it's simply the experiences people get addicted to while high. Everything tastes better, is funnier, sex is better high etc. So IMO as long as you're not widening your experiences while high, you'll likely be fine. Whenever I smoke, we pretty much just hotbox a sauna or a car or hit bongs in the living room, watch tv or play WoW and eat pizza.

It's a good time without anything to worry about.

You DO have to know your limits though and be responsible.
It's obviously stupid to smoke everyday and one of the side effects I found was that it does make my mind seem slower the next day. I find myself having to think a bit longer about easy things that normally I could just rattle off; off the top of my head when I'm stone cold sober.

Yes it can kill you, lung cancer etc. Also you can't get addicted to marijuana, it's the habit rather than the actual drug or other things that bring people to smoking it.

Alright thanks guys, I think I'll do it very sparingly because I want to become a cop when I'm older and I need a 100% clean record. By the way I'm not addicted, if I were it would be on my mind all the time. I'm just thinking of it as a social gathering kind of thing like Shonna said.
