It would be good to hang on for a year and not be so hasty to leave home. For all your mother isn't, she provides you with warmth, food and all bills paid, a computer, clothes, essential toiletries etc. Tonight I went shopping for food and household stuff, but the bill was astronomical! Granted there's nine in our family, that bill averages out weekly! Even a couple living together are finding making ends meet very tough, especially with new tax decreases and allowances down the pan and VAT on the increase... Just to pay bills in an average month you need to be looking to pay at least £700. And that's before you get to eat.

Stay at home for as long as possible. I understand things are not great. But you could be far worse off.

Hug
Okay, you are right she does give me alot of things which I should be greatful for I admit I'm not always greatful.

You're welcome.

Just one thing worth remembering, is when you reach 18 and can leave home as you will be seen as "adult", your mother is not legally obliged to let you return to live in her house. And when anyone reaches age 18, parents are quite legally entitled to ask their children to leave.

Any person in the UK on reaching 18 is free to leave home without their parents stopping them. This is because when a person reaches '18' in the UK they are legally recognised to be adult.

But if they want to return to live at their parents' home, their parents are legally entitled to refuse them.
