When you tell them off by saying "Please don't" or "No, stop it, that's not okay" you have to use a stern face. If you smile you'll send them a message telling them it's okay to do that because smiling obviously means you're not actually that upset about it. Using a serious face sends them a message you aren't just fooling around.
