Last night, my boyfriend and I went for a drive. I have my license my boyfriend don't. But I let him drive my car last night just like every night (some nights) on the back road so no cops passes. Well yesterday when we wanted to switch drivers, I said turn in that garage's driveway and we will switch and go home. Guess what?....A cop noticed so we were trapped, my boyfriend had to keep driving and him nervous as shit... and me nervous too I said we will get stopped and so we did.

The cops asked licence and registration please. He said i forgot it at home. and the cops asked for mine so I gave it to him. So he went back to the cop car, few minutes after he came back and said I couldn't find your boyfriends name on the computer and the cop said you don't have your license do you? So my boyfriend had to say no. and the cop said this is not good. He said to my boyfriend to go to the cop car so he can ask questions and shit even called his parents to see if he was saying the truth for his name and age.

A cop women came beside me and mind you she is the worst bitch cop in the country because she doesn't give a fuck about no body. She said to me we called to towing truck to pick your car up and I am not aloud to drive for 1 month ( till 19 of may 2011) which will be long as I am working so I will have to walk to work for 1 month which will be a piss off. So the both cops asked me if they can bring me home or walked home, I said I will walk home as I said I don't live far from here. So they said ok then.

The towing truck came and pick my car up. I asked him how much for towing he said 76$ plus 15$ a day if your car stays there in the pound. If I leave it there for one month it would cost me 500$ or something to get it back...yeah right I ain't paying that, I will pay it today and leave it my yard. free of charge.

The worst part is to tell my mother then next morning....she bitched at me for I don't know how long. I had to lie that It was for a speeding and shit. If mom finds out my boyfriend was driving....I think she wont let him go to my house anymore...:(

I have to agree with Charlotte here. Your boyfriend shouldn't have been driving, and as a result of breaking the law you had to suffer the consequences. I'm very sorry to hear about what happened, honestly, but the police were only doing their job.

Rachel, C'mon...letting someone without a license drive your car? What were you thinking? Regardless of what you might think of this little episode, I think you and he got off easy. What would have happened if he hit someone? Or worse? Yeah, I know, no one ever thinks about stuff like that...but that's how it happens, no one plans on catastrophe, we're all Superman.

You took a terrible risk, you showed really bad judgement and you got caught. The fact that you've been doing this for awhile or the fact that there's some inconvenience now and expense doesn't take away from the facts that you shouldn't have allowed this, and it could have been much worse.

I know you're really mad at the cops, but really...like the others said, your boyfriend should not have been driving. That was just asking for this to happen. No, you weren't just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He would have been caught sooner or later. :(
Why didn't you just drive? Why did your boyfriend always have to? After all...it's your car...right?

Well im going to court next week so I can drive right away. My boyfriend told me he won't show up at court.

He will have to pay 445$ plus 600$ for extra. If he can't pay he will have to give a few valuable things to the cops like suspending it.

I know they are doing their jobs but seriously I ain't the only one on the road....!

But it's not like they were making it their job to get you. They just happened to catch you and your boyfriend at the wrong time. You said you've been doing this for about 5 months, so I would consider yourself lucky that you've only been caught this one time.
