Default Feeling down over new baby my mom is having?

my mom is having a baby again even though theres me im 13. And i have 3 brothers and a baby sister already it sucks! No one in my class has 5 other brothers and sisters.

Is it bad if I hope mom doesnt get pregnant again?

Matt, I don't think that its necessarily a bad thing if you hope your mom doesn't get pregnant again. I'm curious why you're feeling down about your mom having another baby though... I'm the oldest of 8 kids, so I can relate to the whole "large family" thing. I'm just curious.

Ah, yeah. The joys of it all...

That sucks, bro. And I'm sorry. :\ Maybe this will be your parents last baby? But, don't let the woes of it get you down - the baby that's ont he way will be worth it. =)

Matt, you know, based on your other posts, I completely understand your frustration...and I also think there's nothing much to do here about it. Your folks seem to be the "It's my way only" kind of parents, even when their ways aren't exactly sensible.

So, the task is coming up with a way of dealing not so much with a new sib (you probably know how to already) but also parents who don't listen and don't seem to be as concerned about the impact of their decisions as they require of you.

Frankly, I'd try to sprout roots outside your family, make new friends and spend lots of time with them, have outside activities that keep you away and maybe put you into contact with other people and lifestyles that are more compatible with your needs.

And a sense of humor...and an awareness that childhood isn't forever...might help.

It's not bad to want something, however you're being really selfish.

A baby is a blessing to her, that's probably why she's had so many of them.
Why not try being happy for her happiness?

As well, my best friend comes from a family of 8.
No one ever cared that she had a lot of brothers and sisters.
