Okay so i work a nine to five job and i got ready this morning like usual, kissed my boyfriend goodbye, like usual and leave..i get to work and realize i left my phone at the house...so with a few extra minutes i turn around and go back. i walk in the front door to him attempting to go through my phone...wtf? I was so upset that it made me feel sick to my stomach, he then looked up fast and threw my phone on the couch next to him and said "you forgot your phone"..i said i guess i did..picked it up and walked out...

now when i was younger, my mom always told me the guilty dog barks first...and his excuse was if you didn't have a lock on your phone i wouldn't wonder, well first of all i have an android of coarse im going to keep a lock on it...second i NEVER have even touched his phone...do you think i should be mad or even the least bit curious as to what he is actually doing behind my back?

Yea, this doesn`t seem like normal behaviour at all.
Of course he might just be an innocent peeping tom, but the fact that he tries it without your permission is strange.

If you have any texts you might not need anymore, i'd delete them. He can't read those if he breaks in again.
For the behaviour, time to lay some boundaries on the guy.

all jokes aside, I didn't like it when my ex used to look through my phone, namely there was nothing on there, but I like to have the privacy and wouldn't look through anyone else's phones (Privacy, etc.) I don't expect to have it done to me.

naw! so sorry to hear that;
its a sign that he doesn't trust you.. and as crazy as it sounds..what is love without trust?
definitely confront him about it, because he's not only invading your privacy but perhaps he's feeling insecure and thinks you might be losing interest in him.

Has he gone into any of your other stuff or was it just your phone? I mean you could set him traps to see if you're unsure but (and I'm not sure if this is me being cynical or what) chances are, if he's gone into your phone, that's not the only thing you should be worried about. With confronting him, you could talk about trust and stuff to make him guilty enough to own up to what he did. I guess it also depends on whether you still want to be with him.

It seems a bit bad of him alright, and it's inexcusable, but he might just have purely been curious and it got the better of him. There may have been no insult intended. That said, everyone deserves their privacy, and he cant defend what he did :/ Maybe you should confront him to get a definite reason to put your mind at rest..

So we ended up fighting about it. he kept repeating "why do you even have a lock on your phone...?!" and my reply was, "anyone with an android uses a lock"

it came down to i don't look thru yours, please don't look thru mine...
