Hey guys...

My name is Courtney, I am a girl, and I am 16.

I asking for help here because I really just need a place where I can tell people what happened and get help, because my life is a MESS right now.

I know this is really long but I swear it is 100% true and I am really scared and I need help.

Okay, so school is over right now and all this happened before school ended. School starts again at the beginning of September.

Anyways, okay so lets go back to about March. I was popular and I had a lot of friends and I was really happy, and one day everything just went downhill. There was this big big party happening (I am so scared to post all this info in case someone from school reads it!) Okay there was this BIG party and all my friends were the one planning it. So of course I was part of it if all my friends were a part of it. However there is one other person who for some reason REALLY hates me, and threatened me and told me that if I come they're gonna kick my ass. I thought this person was my friend but we never really talked. Anyways, this person is friends with all my (old) friends, so I thought my friends would defend me.

I have done so much for my friends, like I have helped them so much. So I went to them and asked them for help because of how their friend is threatening me and they did NOTHING. I didn't go to the party and they didn't care and they still kept asking me for favors pretending nothing happened!

Then one day the person who hates me planned on stealing my wallet because they knew I had lots of money in there.

So they made a plan and they got my friends to help them and my friends DID HELP THEM!

I was so angry and shocked I immediately just cut all my friends out of my life, I deleted them from Facebook and everything and then they figured out I deleted them and stuff and they stopped talking to me so I was happy.

I moved on and I kept ignoring them and everything was okay, but they were ALWAYS talking shit about me and the person who hates me for no reason has serious issues, they said so much bad stuff about me and literally sometimes they would get together just to make fun of me.

It was like everything I've done for them was a waste, and I was SO upset.

At school it was like EVERYONE had turned against me, I was so uncomfortable at school now because I saw them so much, and other people who didn't have a problem with me before started hating on me now as well.

I was seriously depressed so my older sister agreed to help me.

I went to my mom and I told her everything and told her I want to switch schools and she agreed. My dad agreed as well. My parents started to worry about me as well, and my dad gave me 500$ because he knew I was going through a hard time.

So I transferred to another school far away from my old school. My new school was easier to get to, it was in a better location, and it was near the mall and I live near the mall so it was perfect.

(I know this is long, please keep reading).

So I transferred and I loved my new school, everyone there was so nice.

But I just disappeared from my old school, no one knew what happened.

My old friends and people from my old school were always trying to contact me to figure out what happened.

So one day my sister picked up the phone and started crying. She told my old friends that I died in a accident! (there was a huge car crash in our city and she said I died in that), and all my friends believed it and they were shocked.

Anyways, when I found out everyone thought I was dead I had to make sure I never saw anyone from my old school EVER again.

I got a new phone, new email, deleted Facebook and all my accounts and stuff.

I dyed my hair and started dressing differently.

Things were going good at my new school.

I stayed there for about 3 months.

Okay so I work at McDonalds at the mall and usually I work in the back making the food and stuff so customers never see me. This is just in case someone I know comes in.

Anyways, one day my manager told me to go on cashier. I saw this girl I hate named Jane walk in!! I freaked OUT! I think she saw me for a split second but I quickly signed off the cashier and told someone else to go on and I went on break.

I checked to make sure she was gone.

APPARENTLY, Jane DID see me. Then Jane went to the OFFICE THE NEXT DAY! She talked to the principal and she asked him what happened to me.

He said that he cannot disclose that information, but she told him how everyone thinks I am dead.

Then he went on my record and he said that currently I am attending another school! Then Jane told him how I faked being dead and stuff!

OMGGGG!!!!! I was at my new school and they called me down to the office. I went inside, and my OLD PRINCIPAL WAS THERE!

He was like "your coming back to your old school". I said why, and he said "your transfer is null and void, you never had a valid reason to transfer which means your coming back". I freaked OUT!

They told me to empty out my locker and say goodbye because I am being sent back to my old school!

I was SCARED!

I called my sister 4 times but she was at work. I got my stuff and left.

My principal drove me back and he told me that he wants to question me in his office immediatley.

Me and him walked into the school and everyone saw me and FREAKED OUT!!!

Then I walked into the office with him and ALL of my old friends were there and they saw me! They looked at me so weird then my principal told me to "keep going" and I walked in his office and sat down.

He questioned my for 2 hours about why I did what I did.

Then my sister came because she read my text about what happened and she talked to the principal. Then the principal told me I am not attending this school again!

My sister told me all my (ex) friends are waiting for my outside the office. So I went out the back exit and I ran into my sisters car.

Then I went the next day and no one really talked to me and one of my friends came up to me and questioned me and I cussed her OUT and told her that I did what I did because they ruined my life and she called me an idiot and I slapped her hard and left.

PLEASE HELP!

What should I do?

Everyone seriously hates me because I let everyone think I was dead for sooooooo long.

If there should ever need a finger to be pointed for blame, I would point the finger towards your sister. I know your sister was trying to "help" you.... errr even if that help resulted in telling everyone in your past life you were dead.... But she shouldn't have done that. There was a million ways she could have done different, but enough of your sister.

I think you should smack your principal into letting you transfer into another school. He acted without realizing what was going on and ended up putting a studen in "danger". Teens like you and me are naturally judgmental in highschool, I don't think salvaging this situation is going to make things much better. To them they probably think you crave attention, however they don't even know you. So don't let them.

You need to transfer again, but this time do it right and make sure noone in your family *claims your dead*. I agree with them that you should never fake being dead, maybe that's why everyone is judgemental. But I really wish you luck, I've never heard of anyone in your position; but I really hope this helps even if just a lil.

I don't understand how the principal can MAKE you stay at that school if your parents had transferred you, unless it was a funding thing for your education but then maybe there's some way to compensate the school so he'll let you leave. Also, if you explained the situation to him and said that you were being severely bullied or whatever, then I'd say that's a valid reason to leave the school. But anyway, you've got the holidays now to think over how you want to handle things and maybe recover a bit. You could just hang out with the kids from the other school if you're still in contact with them. The other thing is, you've only got 2 years or so left and then you can go off to college or get a job somewhere else so you can move away from the area and make new freinds. I hope this helps in some way.

When I went to transfer you need to give a valid reason for transfer, a valid reason is if you feel endangered at the school or if you moved. I lied and said I am going to move and they transferred me, then the principal said that the transfer was invalid. I said that everyone here hates me and he told me to deal with my problems and not run away.

If I really wanted to transfer I could talk to the school board, but everyone at my new school would hate me too because they found out I faked dead and ran away from my old school.

I mean, faking your own death is extremely stupid, first and foremost. Secondly, I don't know what country you currently live in, but under No Child Left Behind, if you are currently unhappy emotionally/educationally at your school, you are allowed a transfer to any other school in the district. I don't understand why all of your friends turned on you. Thry probably weren't your friends. Your in a tricky spot. Just hang om there.

Just hang on for a little while longer. I know it's going to be a rough few years, but in the end everything will turn out alright. I think that you do have a valid reason for a transfer (although lying about that reason was probably a mistake in the first place). In regards to that, I would try and get your parents involved with the whole issue. Don't just let the school decide which school you're going to. Use everything you have to stand up for your right to transfer if you really want to.

Now It sounds like your old friends aren't people you want to be friends with in the first place. So maybe in a way it's good that they don't talk to you anymore. Try and make friends with other people who are there for you and actually care about you. If you can't find that at school, there are other places to do that. Make friends outside of your school.

Yeah, you made a few mistakes here and there, but if you learn from them you can probably get through the next few years. Just hang in there. I'm sorry I can't be much help here.

First of all, your sister is the cause of al the mess, and she should be the one getting all the blame and consequences. Also, i think she is either crazy or stupid for doing such a thing. No offence.

Second, i think you should transfer school. I think it´s total bogus that they won´t let you transfer without a valid reason...you (or your parents) pay the bill, so they should have the final word in everything school related, not the principal.

Third, you might have lost your friends, but that doesn`t stop you from making new ones. If you transfer that is. Just be sure not to make the same mistakes.

Don`t lie, and don`t let your sister of parents lie for you. Truth lasts the longest.

If you never really talked to a person, he/she is not your friend. So don`t be shocked if this person turns against you. For what you know, he/she isn't inetrested and will hate you.

And last of all, stop hiding behind a person you are not. Don't dye your hair, change your name, and that kind of stuff. Deal with it instead of running away. Dealing with it hurts, but the pain fades. Running away takes way longer and hurts way more in the long run.

Wow. That is crazy. I've transferred schools about 2 times and my parents never hd to give an explanation, but had to give an annual report on where I was and what classes I was taking.

If there is anyone to blame for this, it would be your sister. She meant well, but she made the situation worse. But what I don't understand is how your old principal can drag you back to your old school. When stuff like this happens, its never the principal who drags someone back, its usually the dept of education, but I maybe wrong. Something seems strange about that.

There is a few things that you could do, although I don't know your whole situation.

1) You could transfer to another school or a private school further away from your old school.

2) I don't know what grade your heading into, but you will be heading to college soon and you'll probably never see these people again. You could try making in through 1 or 2 more years. At this point, thats not even an option though.

3) This isn't a suggestion, but I think it would be something to find out. You could always find out if what the principal did is even legal. I don't know what country you're from, but I don't believe he has the right to even do that. But i'm no judge, but I think it would be worth checking into.

^ I am going to investigate but I am thinking of just staying and dealing with my problems instead of running away to another school.

My principal hates me because last year I got drunk in the bathroom and he came and he saw me drunk and questioned me and I passed out in his office, he called my parents but I passed it off as low blood pressure and got away with it, however he thinks I am stupid and he pulled me in his office and said the transfer is invalid because there is no valid reason and he told me that the board of education wants me transfered back.
