Default Dreams

I saw a thread about someone talking about his dreams. I would like to know what some of my dreams mean too! Just a little outside insight to help me gain a new perspective.

One of my more darker dreams involved me being on the top of a sky scraper. It's really tall and I remember feeling some kind of wind blowing, but the wind is coming from behind and pushes me off the building. It couldn't have been more than 10 seconds and right before I hit the ground I wake up with sweat and my chest pounding. I have had these dreams for maybe once or twice a year for the past 6 years. My mom says it's because I'm growing, and that when people grow you will have dreams of falling. But the thing is, I had one just recently (a few weeks ago) and I know for sure that my growth spurt is gone. I havn't grown at all since I was 17, why do they keep coming back?

Another of my dreams involved a rainbow lake. I remember holding hands with someone but I don't remember who, but the eerie part is that I've had this dream twice in my life so far. I try to think hard about whose hand I was holding, because I get the strangest feeling that I knew her. We would walk up to the lake and then sit down, I'd wake up with sweat on my palm but nowhere else....

The last type of dream I want to share is kind of like the first one, but instead of falling I'm walking vertically on the walls of the scraper. At first I don't notice it, but then I realize everything else is horizontal but I'm walking on a vertical edge. I think this dream lastest around 5 minutes (I'm not sure) but never have I made it to the top. I've had this dream 3 times in my life, and all of them are spread out. Once since I was a kid, 2 I've had in very short intervolves within the beginning of this year.

If someone could share some thoughts that would be much appreciated I've always taken a liking into the topic of Dreams.

I like sharing dreams experience too (:

I've had a dream about falling off a building too (:

It was always the same place. Dark, it was night time, the same building, the same place from where i'm standing.. And i knew.. the moment when i jumped. The adrenaline just rushes up. Pushing me, i woke up panting and my heart beat like its never beaten that fast before.

The other dream that i can remember was wonderful (: I dreamt that my crush was there. xD
but it was just infatuation..

mmm... i remember nightmares mostly.. There's this time when i was a kid, i dreamt that my brother stabs me..

Oh! I. Love. Dreams. I'm happy to try to help!

First, what's your association to skyscrapers? What do they mean to you? How/where have you experienced them?

Second, the wind blowing you from behind. This is a force from your past. Did something happen to you when you were younger, something very powerful that 'knocked you'? Can you share that?

if I lose track of this thread, PM me..

I find DreamMoods to be very helpful in this. I'm no expert myself or anything but the people on here are generally pretty good. On the main site and forums.
