Smallsmileys202 Bully=Skool Change?

Im about to enter my Junior year of high school. Ive known all the people in my high school since elementary school. My school is one of the biggest in its district and one of the best and i do very well with a GPA of 3.8.

One of my best friends lied to me for the whole two years of high school about some of my friends "dying" and all. She made up the whole thing on the internet and it hurt me very badly. Even after i went to therapy when my friend "Anthony" died from a car crash and my friend "Jordan" was diagnosed with cancer, she kept the scam up. I know i was stupid for believin in people i didn't even get to see and i don't need people telling me that please. She put me thro alot of pain and her excuse was that she had a lying disorder and split persona.

I forgave her but I dont want to see her. I know some ppl may say "Deal with it" but there are other reasons I want to change school. I know everyone at my school and wish to meet new people. I want to go to a school where i can ride the bus (school or city) there and back so that my parents can trust me more (i cant even walk to the corner store or walk my dog because of no trust).

The school I want to go to is 15 minutes away. I can go straight from a 3 minute walk to the city bus stop and then another 5 minute walk from the drop off to my new school. Then vise-versa to go home. The problem my parents see is that the school is not as great as my current one, but Id prefer this one rather than the 30 minute drive one where my mom has to stress her time and job just to get me there and back.

I should be driving soon, just to add. In about three months.

But should i change schools? And, if so, my school or my parents? Anyones opinion would be great! Thank you.

Ignoring the girl would be a good start, I know you didn't want to hear the whole 'forget about her'.. but that is exactly what you need to do, she's screwed you over so much, that just let her get on with it, ignore it all, prove you are bigger than that and show your parents you are doing that also as it'll prove you are mature, also im not an American so i dont get the whole age of what year you go into Junior High etc, but it sounds like if you should be driving in a few months - your parents wouldn't dream of letting you anyway. Stick it out as you are now, work your way up on your parents.. have a chat with them see what they say about giving you a little more freedom now you're getting older.

It's up to you to be honest, I knew a friend who trialed at a different secondary school but came back, so a trial may be possible for you.
