Default New school

I live in London, and i really hated my school and i got into lots of fights. SO over the summer holidays ive finally got something sorted and am going to go to a new school in about 2-3 weeks. The school i've been going to is an all boys school, and i think i might find it hard to adjust if i go to a mixed school. I mean i find it fairly easy to talk to girls, but i can get shy at times and get really nervous and self conscious. I'm really glad that i finally get to leave my bullshitty old school where there was always a pack of "gangster" haters that followed me, But I'm also quiet nervous about making new friends and hanging around with girls and possibly getting a new girlfriend. I'm also scared to be unpopular and having another pack of haters following me o.o and distracting me from my gcses ( year 11 - important year ).
Advice would be appreciated Thanks!

Keep a low profile for a while, don't wear or do anything that can attract attention. Try figuring out what the schools like for the first week or so, who the best people to hang out with might be, certain people/spots to avoid etc. Hope this helps

There are always kids that don't like you and you can't get on with everyone.
Just give it a try :') Be genuine and don't try to make an effort to fit in, just be the way you are and you'll soon start to talk to regular people and form friendships.
I understand you being shy around girls, but they're their own people and collectively, they won't shun you You'll probably get a few female friends I'm sure everything will be fine. I know it's easy for me to say, but just relax and focus on your work because that's the only reason you go to school.

When you get to school just smile and act friendly and be confident even if you're not. If you show your nerves some people may get the wrong end of the stick and think you're not a nice person, yet you are! Like Lauren said, you can't get along with everyone, and don't worry about those you can't get along with. You know, I bet you will be absalutley fine! Everyone feels like this when they start a new school! Just be yourself and work hard and you should be fine! Good luck!

They'll always be people you don't get along with, but equally there will be people you do get along with. Just be generally pleasant and try to avoid the one's that look a bit shifty.
It's normal to be nervous when starting a new school and worrying about making new friends is natural, you'll soon find out how the school works and flows and you'll fit in just fine
Hope everything goes well for you!

My advice is to always be yourself. I'd rather be hated for who I am then loved for who I'm not. Nobody likes fake people and you will find more friends if you're honest. Just keep your head up, keep a smile on your face, don't let anyone get you down, and remember that you are you.

You will find friends, I promise you.
