My life now is bad, very bad.

I'll start from the beginning here. As I was making hot dogs in the kitchen my mom came home and started yelling at me for various things. The argument was heated, voices turned to yelling and swearing went on. We were close to one another, my sister came downstairs and got involved. My sister said she was calling the cops, thinking nothing of it I went to my room down stairs and ate my food.

After I ate my food I went for a walk to clear my head, my destination was my gf's house. As I sat there I received a phone call from a police officer saying come back home you're being arrested. So my gf and I went walking to my house, I called my father up and explained to him and he told me to wait for him at a park so I did.

Once he got to my location he and I went to the police station and I was arrested, thank god for having my father there or they would have kept me in jail until the trial. My father went threw enough things regarding the law that he knew how to get me out. So a few hours later after waiting in the holding cell they free'd me, because my father put me in his custody.

After all that I'm living with my father now, an hour away from my gf and not allowed to talk with my mom or sister as they are pressing charges on me. The funny thing is I never laid a finger on either yet I'm getting slapped with x2 assault which is bs.

My life right now isn't the best, but I guess it's better than being dead. All I care about is not being able to see my gf. That kills me, like beyond kills me.

Hey Kyle,

Sorry to hear about your situation. It seems quite frustrating and I can understand your stress in this. Well, being under your father's custody is still better than being in jail, or dead, so we have that thankful for. It's good that your father was there for you.
Your mother and sister seem pretty unstable. It's quite immature and troublesome for them to involve you in a situation like this. We can only hope for them to reach sense before it's too late and your relationship with them becomes strained and pratically non-existant.

For now, there's not much you can do. You are under your father's custody which pretty much restrains you from anything near that house. But, this does not mean you can't see your girlfriend. Maybe try to meet up and spend time with her during the weekend, when both of you have free time. Try a long distance relationship in this short span of time. You both love each other, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Remember this is only temporary, things will get better in time, and you mustn't give up or let yourself down. There is not much to it now other than staying strong.

such situation is very painful for a teen.really sorry to hear about it.i hope things will get better soon.

just take it as an experience of life, so that you in future can manage any bad situation in ur life.
