I've just realized that through bus fares that I didn't borrow off of mum and dad, and lunch money, the amount of cash in my back has halved in the last three weeks.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can make some extra money in my spare time?
I usually get home from college quite late, around 6/7ish on full days, 3:30-4:30 on half days so that cuts out any chance of getting a real job of some kind. I've checked around the newsagents for paper-rounds on my days off, but they are all full. I can't think of how to earn while at college.
It'd just be nice to have some money of my own so I can go out places with my friends and pay for my own lunches! (I feel terrible enough for mum and dad paying my buses, let alone my lunch too!)
Thanks
The pet sitting/walking idea is a good one, but I've just looked up the law ect for it and you have to buy insurance and legal stuff just in case the dog bites someone/dies/is injured while in your care.
Thanks for the idea though
I was thinking of making jewellery and selling that. It's just a matter of of finding time to make it, and as you said, the profits side of things.

You can try odd jobs here and there, like mowing peoples lawns, taking care of peoples gardens (Pulling out weeds, trimming hedges). Maybe sell a few unneeded things online. Pawning is decent too, though I think you need to be 18. Pet grooming, modeling occasionally... basically just a bunch of different stuff.

Some good ideas there. I could do odd jobs, they'd be fairly quick and easy to do on an afternoon I'll have to speak to my parents about it. Thanks.
Hm. Modelling has actually been suggested to me before, but I'm not sure.
Don't think I've got the right looks for it, plus I wouldn't know where to start
Don't you worry about the right looks. You're pretty attractive imo, besides, you aren't trying to be a supermodel here, it's just some simple modeling and I'm sure loads of people would be willing to take you if you look in the right places.

At 14? It would be rather difficult to find a paying tutoring job I would think
