Should I?
Basically the school has set up a new counseling service, I'd like to use it as I have concerns about relationships/school/home that is hard to articulate properly here, would it be a waste of their time to ask them, or should I go for it?

Yes, you should definitely go for it. Like @guitarguy1357 said, even if it doesn't work out, at least you've tried. If the service is available to you, you might as well use it if you need it. And it won't be a waste of time for them either - they are there to help you in any way they can, and they can most likely help you. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

What can you possibly lose from it?
Give it a shot.
"If I do good, people might accuse me of selfish, ulterior motives, but I will still do it. Because I believe no one is malicious, not in their core, in their raw being.
The best in them is clouded by sorrows and fears, take those away and you'll bring out the brightest of lights in them.
Because no one can be happy without being kind, without giving ourselves to another, and we all love to give ourselves, it is our true nature.
That is why, even if I might get disappointed, I'll always give the best I've got. A single candle can light a thousand others and still burn." - Skezra
