So I was going through the website of my favorite underwear designer and I saw that he finally came out with a clothe & footwear line. The first thing I saw was a shoe that I designed in drawing and illustration class last year. The thing is that I had to make two copies because the first one I did got lost in the class room. I showed my mom and my brother and they both said "wow isn't that your shoe?". My brother than said "you sold it?" The shoe design he kept but he did not keep the illustration(graphics) just like I wanted to leave it like, but my teacher said to put graphic on it because its illustration class. I posted it on Facebook and my friends are telling me to sue. So apparently someone stoled it and sold it. This is not the first time. The first time, it happened to me on 8th grade. I don't like to sue because its time consuming and people are going to have a scandal and said "High School Student Sues Designer", He sale them fort $155.00 per pair. My teacher always need to look it up or hide it some where, but in 10th grade the teacher didn't because I though I wash't going to get it stolen or damaged . It started to get my art work stolid or damaged in 7th grade.
PS i know i need to take care of my are work, sorry for the long post.
No, because you will be wasting money and time. Doesn't seem like a solid case to me. You should always keep copies or your work for future references.
@Capitan Oooh..... I think I didn't explain right I have one copy because the first one got stolen before I got a grade on it and I don't care about the money I'll get but I'm mad because the designer didn't have to work as hard as I did to make the shoe...
I would want to sue. But that's just how I am personally. I wouldn't want somebody to take advantage of me. But unless you have proof he stole it I bet you will lose bc all shoes look similar relatively. I mean how can you be sure the company didn't come up with it themselves?? How different was it from other shoes out there really? And like you said it's not about the money since if you have two designs companies stole and put out on market you will likely be famous and wealthy some day anyway.
@Cougar88 Yeah I'm not looking for money, I'm not poor not even middle class so I'm not looking for money. The thing is that the shore has a trade mark so specific. Is a high boot/converse looking, with 3 straps one is around the feet and the other two are around the leg and there is clothe that covers the lasses.

This made me laugh like mad... Why the hell do you want designer underwear?! xD it's just underwear!
And Id speak to a consultant or lawyer first to see if you have a case, and then make your choice from there. Even if it seems sold that you have the original and stuff, sometimes it still wont hold up. So, talk to someone and don't sue for a bitch load -.- just a fair amount.

Dude.... I can find underwear that is just as comfy but not need to work four hours for them.. LOL that's ridiculous. There's people out there starving, or who don't have food, or a home, warmth, or clothes.. I personally would rather wear less comfy crap and help there
