Okay, so recently I have been turned down for new jobs and an apprenticeship for next year. I don't want to pay the ridiculous uni fee's so I don't want to go. I just feel that my life is going nowhere and that we as young people have no future. I don't want to sign on the dole, and I am stuck in a part time job where I'm constantly discriminated against because of my age. Anyone else finding the future hard?

You should at least do a cheaper online college so you get a degree of some kind, if you think life is hard now try being 30-40 with a family and no college degree, you're fucked.

But anyways, yeah it sucks being young but give it time and keep trying hard. Once you're older you'll get more opportunities.

Whatever you want to be in the future, you have to put the work in, you have to spend money to make money, YOU are making your future, if you want to go to Uni, go to Uni, it will make life less hard, the money is a lot, but it's so little to what you can become.

I agree with what other people are saying that you should try to get into somewhere cheap. Just make sure you think carefully about what you want to be and what you would like to study. It'll be easier for you to get by and get a job if you have qualifications. Or maybe you could try other places for getting an apprenticeship - keep looking and asking around for places, and you might find somewhere that will take you. See if you can complain about the discrimination you feel you are being subjected at work - discrimination is unacceptable and isn't tolerated in the work place. Another option would be to look around for jobs and see if you can find somewhere better - but you will get better jobs if you are qualified.

It's perfectly normal to worry about the future - I'm sure everyone has done it at some point. But if you want to improve your future, you need to keep looking for somewhere and work hard to get to where you want to be. So try to stay possitive about your future and keep trying.
