I have this uber tough cousin, who's one of the 3 or 4 toughest girls in my school. The other day she was fighting with her little brother. I tried to pull her off of him, and she turned on me. (I think she must assume I'm a wimp Because I'm kinda nerdy & have never been in a fight.). She got in my face and was like, "come on... let's fight." She had me backed up against a bed, and then totally made me look like a punk by pushing me down onto the bed and standing over me saying "come on, get up, are you afraid to fight a girl." I got up and she pushed me down again and kept egging me on "come on, get up, let's fight." I got up a 2nd time, she finally slapped me in the face and left me alone. I admit I was pretty scared. Not only does she have the really tough rep, I know she is pretty strong. I've tried to arm wrestle her & couldn't beat her (had to settle for a draw after like 5 minutes of trying my hardest). Also, my family tells me she used to beat me up when we were really little.
a) Why would a girl want to fight a boy? Do girls get a sense of empowerment from beating up a boy? Do they get major toughness "cred" if they can beat up a boy
b) Do you think my cousin could have beat me up if I tried to fight back? why/why not?
c) Do you think I'm a wimp for being scared of a girl?

"Nerds" by her definition are probably people who aren't capable of winning a physical fight well...I don't see that as being something to be proud of, at least you might have an ounce of intelligence unlike her. She clearly thinks that being able to beat people gives her some sort of authority when it doesn't.

You're not a wimp for being scared of being beat up; unless you're a masochist or anything of the sort you're not going to enjoy being beat up are you? Don't get the impression that just because you're a male that you have to "take it like a man" because you don't. She's your cousin, why are family members getting into physical fights? You should tell your/her parents; her behaviour is unacceptable.

a) When you say "like that", what part are you referring to?
b) Also, if tough girls like my cousin are so much tougher than "nerdy" guys like me, why is it so humiliating when she punked me out like that? Like everyone's acting like I'm such a wimp for getting beat up by a girl. I don't think they'd dog me so much if I backed down from a really tough guy. Thoughts?
