I want to be a Rj so badly, and i might be giving a online audition as well.But Can anyone tell me some Tips to become a Good Radio Jockey?

Don't be dull and boring. Be bubbly, have a friendly and happy voice, get involved with listeners with anything like trivia questions or shit like that. Most importantly, don't play shit music.

Having a unique voice, all RJs and DJs have a voice tht is special, and they practice it. Its not ur regular speaking voice.

Also, be vivacious and exciting. Unless youre working the classical radio station you need ethusiasm

Pretty much what everyone else said. And as far as music, don't play so much new stuff. I hate hearing the same song over and over especially when it's new. Play some older popular songs so people go "Oh, I haven't heard that in a while. Cool."

Otherwise, make jokes that are appropriate and not to bias or insulting to a group of people. Be entertaining and act like you're talking to someone.

If your gonna be getting texts or requests from people try your hardest to talk about it , give an opinion and talk but not much people want both talking and music 50/50 lol , oh and be unique have some trivial questions about whats going on , if you'll be accepting requests through texts make a unique way of others sending their requests something like freaky meal orders like "volcanic cake with a cup of molten hot lava" all in all BE CREATIVE NOT BORING

I currently work as a radio host. The job was not much good in the start but I have got a good status in society right now due to this job.
Radio job can be too much easy for u if u love it. If you want to give an audition u should have some of the points in mind.
1: The Selectors will check ur confidence not just by ur audition, but also by the introduction and talk that u will have with them in the office. They try to guess about ur skills by ur body language. So be confident in front of them. But not over confident. Feel like u r a happy and fun type person. This will give a reason to the selector to select u.
2: They also check ur voice quality. Do record ur voice and judge it urself and have some comments from ur friends as well. If you speak in a way that u speak with your best friend, then they are surely gonna select u. Do record ur voice before going for audition.
3: Topics and creativity are also vital. When u get on air you must speak and speak in such a way that others will be influenced by ur talk and start to love u. You can be a normal radio person but it really sucks, you will enjoy the job when others will start loving you and find time to listen to the show by skipping their other works just for ur show. Speak fun things but don't be a joker. Be serious once in a while to influence ur listeners. This has really helped me out.
4: Be in your listeners shoes, people want to listen to good music and hate to listen to a guy or girl speaking again n again. So speak not much not less, but enough to influence the listeners. Just think for a while what a listener wants to hear about or what will he enjoy to hear. In this way speak out by keeping listeners feelings in ur mind.
5: Good music is much more essential. Play different type of music as listeners belong to different ages and youngsters hate old music and oldies hate PSY type music. Play both types so that all will be happy.
As far as audition is concerned, speak to GM about the points that I shared. He will think that the person has a good sense of humor. He will trust you and believe me u will be selected.

Be yourself and don't be dull. Color your voice and interact with the listeners. That's the best advice I can give due to not knowing much about RJing.
