Default My Grandparents quit smoking, now I have no excuse.

My grandparents have always smoked, so much that now when I smell cigarettes it makes me happy because it reminds me of them.

Now I took up smoking last year, I liked it and kept doing it, but just recently I have really cut back, but I hung around my grandparents to inhale their second hand smoke.

I don't care who says it is unhealthy, your facts aren't gonna have any affect so don't tell me how unhealthy it actually is. My thought is if these people could quit, and they have smoke for well over 50 years, then why can't I? Not for my health, just to prove I can.

You should for the many reasons, not just it being unhealthy who the hell wants to become a addict and have to smoke on a schedule or you go batshit crazy? not me.

I am not an addict, just a social smoker. I now only smoke with my buddy from Colorado, who I only see like 3 times a year, that being said I do smoke like a chimney when we are together.

Whatever your inspiration, we've got you, bro. You can do this. You've got this.

I only used to crave it when I hung out with them and they were smoking, now I will only crave when people are smoking in public, which isn't all that common in CA.

Yeah but it can happen is what I mean. Also i just despise people who smoke because it's like... when you have kids, that will effect your kids as well. They won't even have a choice in the matter till they're older and by then they're effect by second hand for how long? second hand smokers pick up 85% of it basically, that times their whole 28 years? sickeing. But yeah you don't care about that xD but like Jared said, whatever reason you are doing it for go for it. it's better for everyone.

Second hand smoke actually REALLY calms me, idk what it is. I would never smoke, but something about the second hand smokes makes me really chill out.

I understand where you're coming from. It's not healthy, and you kow it. Just don't ruin yourself to a point where you're sitting in a hospital bed at 40 with cancer, a stroke, and a tumor.

Well, my grandfather has been smoking like a chimney for 60 years come March, and no sickness related to it at all, not even a smokers cough, I really hope I would inherit genes like that.

You can quit if you want. I mean it sounds like you know all of the the consequences. So in the end, it's really up to you. If you want to quit, you can. It might not be easy. But it's really possible. Go for it if you want to.

It sounds easy, and I already haven't smoked since 3 weeks ago come Tuesday, the cravings are gone right now.
