I've finally told somebody about my self harming..
My PSHCE/PSE teacher..
he sat down infront of me and told me to go tell my Head of Community or the school nurse, but he said best bet is my HoC (Miss Herapath) but sigh, I don't dare.. so my friend went to Miss Herapath and said I wanted to talk to her, but I didn't dare, so she said to my friend to go and talk to her at 4 bells ( 4 bells at Lunch.. warns us there is 15 mins left of lunch!) and I finished my lunch, went to find her but the bell went for lesson so I couldn't talk to her..
so at the end of the day (well.. end of my hour detention) I went to see her, and I asked her if I could talk to her tomorrow, and she said yes, and she will hang behind at break time for me to talk to her..
I'm nervous.. what shall I say?? what shall I do? what if she calls my mum? I've got nervous I've even cut myself again..
HELP!!!!!:'(
Hey even if she tells you're mom it's okay. The more people willing to understand, help, and support the better Just don't freak out and see how tomorrow goes.
From joy to sorrow, yesterday to tomorrow, you've been there. Friends like you are rare, your touch is so gentle,
You're my guardian angel.
Like a blossoming flower spreading your wings in grace, filling my heart with power
by feeling your embrace.
Wherever the wind may blow, we will overcome this war, in times happy or sore, I will never let you go.
With a gentle warm heart and a will of stone, We'll never be apart, You'll never be alone. - John <3
It will be okay, trust me. It will be easier for you to get help if she knows. We don't even know if she's gonna tell, just roll with it. Whatever happens happens for a reason.

Don't be nervous. This is most likely a good thing. Just relax, be yourself, and tell the truth. Don't worry if she tells your mom. To be honest, she probably should know about it. She knows you more than most people do and she'd be more able to get you the help you need than most people. Plus, she can handle it. She just wants the best for you and, even if she does have a lot on her plate, I'm sure that she would want to know what's going on with you.
The sooner your mom finds out the better, because when she does find out she's going to feel horrible she didn't notice for how many years.

She will tell your mom. She's required to do so. But even if your mom has enough on her plate, there's always going to be time for you. You're her child, and your health and safety will always be the most important thing. This is a good thing you're doing. Just let out your concerns and ask questions. But make no mistake, teachers are required by law to report a student self harming. Don't think she won't.
