Meh , so High Expectations and yet so lazy-ass ... I wont be able to study Phychology if i keep being a lazy-Laptop-Brat .

Okay lets see ... I am very obsessed with my internet and Computer which wont let me study or do homework sometimes .. All i do is being in laptop .. Seriously im surprised its not "Dead" yet (my laptop) . Yes i am addicted to it and cant help it . I only get out of it when im at school or out with friends .

The thing is , I never study or Do homework , i mean ... last year i was a better student , and the thing is as long as i grow up i had to become less lazy I dont study much because im distracted by Computer , and when i sit down to do homeowork im like "meh " and give up ... im easily distracted :/ i can catch my self studying and Thinking about something else .

Im taking My school-Grades on Monday and im pretty much sure Mum will be disappointed ...

Any Tip?

LS-C (Learn Self - Control). While you are doing your homework, don't look at distracting webpages. Use your computer as little as you can during that process and keep a list of sites YOU ARE ALLOWED to visit during your studying.

i've tried , its like im loosing interest when i go to do homework and all i think is the laptop and how to go back at it :|

If you really care about your grades and your mother's satisfaction you would study!! I know it'll be hard to leave your "awesome" laptop to go and study your "boring" lessons but you have to!! try as hard as you can to stop using it a lot...it's just a matter of time and then you'd get used to it!! also having ambitions and goals would help a lot..as if you have a goal you want to achieve you'd study as hard as you can to fulfill it!!

If you use Firefox download leechblock (I think it's called that) and block all of the websites that distract you like Facebook or anything else you waste time on

Maybe i need to give laptop for some hours to mum to keep it , i wont have anything to do so will be forced to study xD pff i need to stop being a lazy boy , if i want to follow my goals.

Lol I know what you mean in that case, do give it to your mum or tell her to set a password on it, so whenever you wanna use it, she types it in for ya

I was the same as you..

I did a timetable.. and I usually stick by it.

I also agree with what one of the members said above, if you really want to do well, then you'll learn to control yourself. It's worked with me, I know this year is VERY important for me so I've learned to control myself around my laptop and go by the timetable I made at the beginning of the school year.

Also what about going to libraries after school?
