Hi, i have recently been through this my self, i know how you feel =/ the exact same thing happened with me and my ex, i knew i was pregnant but i didn't tell my mum untill i was past 9 weeks (that's how long it took me to pluck up the courage to tell her) she is just how you described your mum, but she took it quite well and didn't kill me. we talked about it for a few days and decided it would be best to have a abortion, but i regret it so much now. All I can say really is, tell your mum, she is your mum and should me their for you no matter what, but really do think hard and long about weather to keep it or not it could be the biggest mistake aborting it or it could be the best thing for everyone. But please do tell your parents and talk to them about it don;t just dismiss it and pretend its not happening like I did. xxxx

First of all you need to know 100% if you are or if you are not. I would advise getting three tests as believe me I did that many to just make sure when I found out! I then would see your doctor and get him to confirm it. There is no point telling people if it is not true. If that all comes back that you are pregnant then you I would tell your parents. Telling my parents was the hardest thing I ever did. When I found out I needed to tell my Mum first. I waited three days with it literally killing me before I told my Mum. I told her when no one else was in and I just said it and then cried. I now wish I had wrote her a letter as we just ended up having a big arguement. I would advise you to write them a letter. That way you can say all your feelings with out the emotions getting in the way. Good luck!

Hun I had to tell my mum I was pregnant at 13. I told her when there was a lot of other people around, that means she cant make a scene or hurt you.
I wrote in my grandads card happy birthday great grandad love from bump. My mum literally turned pale but couldnt say a single word, after that she was okay with me.
It is hard and I was only with my then bf for 5 months when it happened, it brought us closer together but then when I lost our 2nd baby this January we drifted apart. S it can work.
