I really need help! I cant stop thinking about wanting a baby and its starting to affect my relationship with my boyfriend because he's really against it! Please help!!!

Well, first off, knowing your age would help a great deal...

But, truthfully, having a baby is a huge responsibility and one that both partners must be ready to 'take on'.

The issue isn't 'Wanting'...desire is fine, it feels good, it's something to look forward to and plan for as a goal...but, unless you're old enough and your lifestyle is stable enough, then it should remain just that: A strong desire, and you should control the urge to act on it and make it a reality.

I would highly suggest that you make sure that your life is in order before you have a baby. Make sure you finish school (if you're in school), make sure you have some source of income, and make sure your boyfriend is ok with it ( you already said that he's against it, and it may be cause it's too early).

I'm the same age as you and pregnant my suggestion is to wait your too young wait afew years until you have enough money and a stable relationship.

i agree. i am 18, about to be 19, and am pregnant with twins. and honestly, i think that i am too young. yes, i have a job and have a stable place to live. baby daddy may not be in the picture if he does not straighten out... i will need help, financially, physically, and mentally. i am only 16 weeks, and i have break downs... it is hard being pregnant. i have medical problems too, so that does not help any.

i suggest to wait a while. wait till you are out of school, have a steady job, a strong relationship, a place of your own...

Good I kind of no what your feeling the idea of a baby sounds very good but the actual truth of it is wayyyyyyy different.

i have always wanted a baby young. and i am getting two!! but the reality is tough. you want something and then reality hits you and then you change your mind. it is hard.
