Advice Please
Im new to this website so I hope im doing everything correctly...
I had unprotected sex almost a month ago and am worried I am pregnant. I have irregular periods and this coming weekend will be a month for me, so Im hoping for a period because i am not ready for a child. But because of my irregular periods, i cannot fully rely on this weekend.
I just need some advice and maybe some symptoms that i should be going thro. Its barely been a month as i said but im been having full back aches, headaches, and tender skin including around my breasts.
I dnt no if these are from the possibility of being pregnant OR because I had the flu last week to such a degree that i was unable to talk because of such a bad sore throat...
I'm not an expert on this, but if you've been having unprotected sex, there's a big possibility that you could be pregnant. You just got over a flu, so those symptoms you listed could be lingering affects from it. I could also be the simple fact that the flu isn't done yet. Still, it never hurts to take a pregnancy test. Better safe than sorry.

Like the other said, those symptoms could just be the flu. In my experience whenever girls think they're pregnant they psych themselves out and imagine they're having symptoms and end up not pregnant. I nor any other girls I know personally have had obvious symptoms before finding out they were pregnant(6+weeks pregnant).
Since your periods are irregular take a test as early as two weeks after you had sex, since its been a month since you've had sex the test will most likely be accurate. Take it with the morning's first pee.
When I was pregnant, I was only 2 weeks along and I had sore breasts to the point of not being able to wear a bra,pissing like a race horse, I was tired all the time, moody, I had food cravings and by 4ish weeks along, a lot of smells triggered nausea.
...but the egg is fertilized at two weeks? your body doesn't even know it's pregnant...unless your counting starting from conception

I took one of those clear blue digital ones that tell you how far you are along.
Mine said 2-3 weeks but I'd already been showing all the symptoms well before that. I took the test the day I was supposed to get my period and I had a completely normal period the month before. I booked an appointment for 5 days from then to have it terminated and according to the Ultrasound they did, I was 4 weeks along.
