How common is for under age girls to want to get pregnant?
my gf knows a girl who is 15-16 and just got pregnant for the second time in two years. when she was 12, she was telling her friends she wanted to have baby, but most people never took her seriously because she was 12. well, when she got her first bf when she was 13-14, she told my gf she was madly in love and wanted to get pregnant. my gf didn't think she REALLY serious, but a few months later she became pregnant the first time. then less than year after she had her first baby, she has gotten pregnant a second time.
my gf says that Wendi was having unprotected sex intentionally at the best times of the month when it was most likely she could get pregnant.
she seems to come from a nice family, but it also kinda seems that girls in her family get pregnant kinda younger than most. like her mom was 16 when had her first baby, and her sister was 16-17.
... i just don't get why girls would try to get pregnant so soon. makes more sense to wait a few years when they are more mature. I mean if a girl is making the choice, why not choose to wait. Accidents are one thing, but trying to get pregnant is a decision, not a an accident.

Gumby, it's not uncommon to want to have a baby..but actually having one..at 12, no less...mercifully and thankfully!..isn't all that common. There's a chasm btw'n "Wanting' and actually 'Having', most use a bit of reason and self control.
When really young younglings do things like this that are so preposterous because they are so totally unprepared for the huge responsibility of child birth and beyond, it usually signals a real problem not only with keeping "wanting" and "having" separate, but also some emotional issues as well..those overpower the ability to reason and show good judgement. I'd think your Wendi is a very lonely , emotionally needy girl who feels a baby (or *Gasp!* many babies) will somehow fulfill her. It doesn't quite work that way b/c the cause of her loneliness isn't really the absence of a baby.
You know where I'm going with this, right? Tell me your Rachel isn't the one telling you about this, 'cuz that might indicate that she's perhaps thinking the same things. If that's the case, Daniel, keep in mind that it takes two to make that particular disaster a reality, and you'd be oh so wise to make sure it doesn't happen. Sam cannot think of one single thing for you right now that would be that catastrophic for you (and her) than a baby....

Everyone wants a baby, but not everyone takes the responsibility of raising it....That's why the adopting agencies are always full of kids !!!
That's really ironic, some people who aren't capable of having kids want kids really bad, and some people keep having kids and tossing them at the agencies !!!
Anyway, we can't deny the balance...!

I sometimes thinking about having a child. we all do at some point in our life, but doesn't mean (well, unless they are smart enough to know) their actually gonna have one at such a young age. I know that babies are hard work and thinking about actually giving birth to one makes me prevent more from it.. Overall, in my opinion, no one shouldn't even be having a baby until they have a good career for themselves, aren't still living under their parent's roof, and having themselves taken care of.
