I can see where you're coming from as dogs and other pets are the same way, however I can honestly say that raising my first dog was much more enjoyable because I didn't know what to expect so it was more of a challenge. I love my current dog,he's wonderful, dont get me wrong; but that element of surprise is gone, it's more of a "well, now that he's 8 months old, he's going to start to become more resistant to listening to commands so we'll have to really reinforce his behaviour."
They obviously all have different personalities and everything, but I just feel so much less excited about the idea of kids now after having done that module in school.
