Don't know about that, but it's generally accepted that one should not to have any caffeine while pregnant

^ this is true, although one cup occassionally won't do much harm, caffeine increases the risk of miscarriage. Monitor the expansion though and go to your doctor if it's persistent and worries you.

Yeah, I think caffeine, as a controlled substance, isn't something you want too much while pregnant.

ummm. i didnt have that. and dont have that. yet i only have one cup in the morning. but i would consult your doctor about this. my sister had this. and they told her to cut out all caffeine.
yes, you can drink coffee while pregnant, but you should not consume more than 200mg a day. which is about 12oz. drinking more than this can increase miscarriage.
