Hey, to all the mothers that got pregnant under the age of 20! How did you feel being pregnant in your teens? Did the pregnancy affect your life? Was it worth it? Do you regret it? It seems to be alot of teenage mothers on this forum so, if you feel like sharing your story on becoming pregnant under the age of 20, please do. I totally understand if you don't want to though. I just want to get a better understanding on how teenage mom's felt becoming pregnant and how they feel now, like a before and after summary.

It ended up probably being one of the best things that happened to me, not that I recommend it.

I got pregnant with my twin girls and I'm pregnant again now. I feel like all of my kids affected my life in a good way. I won't even begin to tell you what i was up to before i got pregnant. I married my husband, started school again, and it was honestly the biggest change of my life. i know it's different for everyone.

You got married and started school again? That's not very common for most mothers that got pregnant under the age of 20. It seems as if getting pregnant at a young age turned out to be better than anyone would have expected for you.

I've actually never understood why girls quit/take a break from school while theyre pregnant. It would make more sense if they took a break after they had the baby.

I think its a tricky question. My babies are my world, I can't even describe the love I have for them but if I could have a do over. I think I would have waited until I was done with school and in a better financial situation but at the same time I don't consider them a regret either if that makes any sense at all lol

If you could have, you would have waited until you were done with school and had a good enough income? I love how you were actually honest with your response! This is exactly what I am looking for!

A girl I went to high school with had three kids by the time she graduated (I'm really proud of her for graduating!)
I did'nt know her well enough to be comfortable with asking why she kept getting pregnant (did she want kids, didn't know enough about contraception, etc). She was living off of all types of government assistance, but now she has a steady job that she's doing really well at so it looks like she's turned out pretty well, and she's not even 20.

I've been really wanting to have another baby too, but I think I want to finish school first since two babies are four times the work ;] I don't know how she did it.
