Me and my girlfriend have been together for nearly 4 months now, very good relationship and everything. We are both currently 15, with me being 3 months older than her.

We have had sex about 4 times, 3 times using a condom, and the last time without stupidly. The last time was just over 3 weeks ago, yesterday she took a test and it was pretty much positive, she feels sick, dizzy and some blurred sight aswel as stomach cramps so the signs point to pregnant.

We are not devastated in the slightest, in fact we both want to keep it. I haven't told my parents yet as they would flip.

Earlier today her mum said its ok, we can keep it and look after it aslong as I act as the dad, which I will, as I want to stand by her, however about an hour ago she changed her mind and said she had to have an abortion.

We both dont believe in abortion and if we cant keep it then we would put it up for adoption but her mum is having none of it.

I never thought I would care if it happened and that an abortion would be fine, but now that it has happened I have sort of realised that I am the dad and instincts of I must look after it have kicked in.

Two things are coming up in my head.

1) Why are people still having sex at young age? I mean, 15? This stupidity his to stop some day. (This is not turned against the thread maker, but people like this piss me off)

2) You are way too young to keep a kid. Have it aborted or put it up for adoption, but don't keep it. Education and sorts is more important at your age then raising a family. The baby can't grow up in an enviroment where both mommy and daddy have to go to school while the parents have to babysit every day. (And no, you aren't gonna stop going to school. Unschooled parents ruin kids.)

I have a sister, she was fifteen when she got pregnant too. She dropped outta school, her boyfriend put a ring on it to save image, and she's now taking care of three kids (she's 21)
Her boyfriend was caught cheating like an asshole.
And now I'm stuck with her living in our house like the freeloader she is.
I don't know you, but that part about being stupid was true.
Can you stay in school?
Can you actually make enough money on your own to take care of your baby?
You guys are fifteen yours old.
You will not have your place, and unless you guys are both planning on dropping school y'all won't be able to give any kind of financial aid to your own child. I could go on how stupid this all this but i'm holding back right now.
I say you get it adopted.
That is the most mature and smart decision you guys can make in this situation.
All that aside.
You aren't a father. Your a kid who's gonna have act like an adult. Now, that being said, if you keep it, your gonna have to sacrifice a shitload to make a living, and i've seen that first hand. Your gonna have grow up and be a grown up, you can't think like kid anymore.
And you sure as hell can't act like one either. Your gonna have to drop everything for fifteen minutes of pleasure, i hope you realize that.

I think your too young to look after and bring up a baby. You have your whole life ahead of you. I think abortion or adoption is for the best in the long run. You have to be realistic and face facts.

Personally I think abortions should be used only in case of rape.

So adoption would be a good choice, she still gets to go through the pain of child birth at that age, and it's a lot, so she may think twice next time she has unprotected sex.

Your parents are not even 'finished' with you, and you're already considering educating a child yourself? I'd say it sounds insane; but respect your girlfriend's decision. If she wants to keep it, you're happy. If she doesn't, well, it's not like you won't have the possibility to have kids later on when you're actually ready for it.
