I am just wondering... Mymom is a drug addict and live with an abusive guy she's even dealt in prostitution. My mom was pregnant and was like 5-6 months pregnant... She says she went into premature labor in the bathroom finally someone found her and brought her to the hospital. She gave birth to a baby girl a few weeks ago. But she left her there. The hospital has safe places for newly delivered kids... She was 24 weeks... And I looked up the survival rate and it's possible that I still have a sister out there. Of course if so she is still young I can't get into contact. But what about in the future? I mean I have heard its pretty anonymous... She probably isn't even on any legal document of hers since she just left her there... What are my options in the future will it forever be a mistery or what?

Since she's an anonymous baby, i don't think you'll ever get to meet her.
To be able to find someone, she needs to have documents and a name. Which the baby both lacks.

Do you know the date of the birth and what hospital? If you do, you could go there and see what information you can get. Other than that, not much else you can do.

what cadet said, but even if you never "meet" her you will always have a "connection" with her that cannot be taken away by anything. You will be raised by different people in different ways so in many ways you will be very very different but like i already said, you will also have an unbreakable bond. So good luck finding her if that is "neccessary" but cool that you have a "sis" regardless

Most likely, you won't be able to physically "meet" her,
Especially since, (if she ended up going into foster care, or ended up being adopted) her name, her location and all of her legal documentations will be changed.

I could find out what hospital and I know her birthday. I don't know her name or anything of that nature though...

Well if you know that much they might be able to help you. It narrows it down to: Female, born **/**/** at _________ Hospital, without a mother on record. It's also beneficial to the kid if you find her because she'll have some sort of medical history if you come forward and you allow it.
