Hey guys, I'm not here to tell you my whole story.. Because well this wasn't on purpose.. But I took about 8 different pregnancy tests and they all came back positive. My boyfriend(18) and I(17) have been together for almost a year now and I mean we've talked about it and everything but I didn't mean it now. But neither of us believe in abortion.. I need to know how to tell my boyfriend and my parents! I am really scared about how either of them will react. Could someone please help me?

Considering he doesn't believe in abortion, I think your boyfriend will take it just fine, but you need to tell him to his face.

Secondly, your parents will be very shocked, possibly angry, but it's important that you tell them you were careful (even if you weren't) and possibly have your boyfriend there too, but I suggest telling your boyfriend first to discuss options, so when your parents ask questions, you -both- know the answer and there's no surprises or pressure

They might react harshly, and dyou'll have to deal with that. Sometimes there isn't a way to make everything better. You're just going to have to swallow some courage, step up, and tell them

Even if they react harshly just give them some time to cool down and adjust to it and everything. Don't make it a huge blow out fight right after you tell them.

i would tell your boyfriend first, get some sort of an idea of what you are going to do (get a job for yourself? is your boyfriend going to get a job? schedule prenatal appointments? ) and agree on it. because one of the first thing your parents are probably going to ask you is what you are planning on doing.

then i would tell your parents. you have to understand that they are probably going to feel very strongly about this, and the emotions might not be positive. i would just give them some space
and some time to accept reality, and eventually they will accept it and help you
but even if they aren't helping you, you have to help yourself and help your child

iam going to be a teen mum as iam currently 7 months pregnant. iam having a little girl and me and the babys dad are still together and he wasnt shocked when i told him he was with me the whole way and the way i told him we were eating dinner in the house and i just said i needed to tell him something but honsetly it will be fine if u tell him he will understad and my parents were shocked but now they have gotten over that and now they cant wait to meet their first grand daughter but iam here if u wanna chat hope this helped <3
