Default Re: Teen Pregnancy Questionnaire

* At what age range do you think it is best to consider having children?
Personally I think it depends on the situation. But in general, I'd say... 20 - 40 is a good range (It can be dangerous to have kids if you're over 35 - higher risk for defects, but not always).
It also depends on how long you've been together/married, at least in my opinion.

* Name two ways of not getting pregnant/getting someone pregnant?
Abstinence. The Pill.

* Would you like to go through pregnancy yourself?
Yeah, later on of course. I'm a little too young right now - plus I'm not mature enough quite yet.

* Would you consider an abortion?
Oh hell no! Not ever! I'm totally and utterly against it!

* Do you think that people understand enough about pregnancy and having children before getting pregnant?
Honestly, I don't think most do. In certain cases though, yeah. But this day in age... I honestly don't think most do.

* How would you react if you were pregnant now?
I'd freak out at first... But I'd eventually calm down and tell my parents.
Then the father. And I'd force him to help me take care of the kid (yay, child support?).

  • At what age range do you think it is best to consider having children?
18 + I was nearly 19 so it's all good.
  • Name two ways of not getting pregnant/getting someone pregnant?
Not having sex or having the rod implanted
  • Would you like to go through pregnancy yourself?
Already have
  • Do you think that people understand enough about pregnancy and having children before getting pregnant?
To be honest no, most people I know think of a baby as being really small and something cute and don't seem to realise how much responsibility comes with it.
  • How would you react if you were pregnant now?
Erm considering I have the rod in so not trying to get pregnant I would be shocked at first.

*At what age range do you think it is best to consider having children?
Between 20 - 35 . in my opinion if you're under 20 you do't have the lfie experience or education needed to bring up a child, however i do know a 15 year old who is a really good mother to her son and still gets up and goes to school every day. And i've heard that having a baby when you're over 35 can increase the risk of problems occuring.

*Name two ways of not getting pregnant/getting someone pregnant?
Contraception and not having sex.

*Would you like to go through pregnancy yourself?
Yes in the future .. not anytime soon lol.

*Would you consider an abortion?
Yes, if I got pregnant before I was 18 (unless it's my fault for not using contraception or whatever) or if there was a danger to me or the child or if it was a result of rape.

*Do you think that people understand enough about pregnancy and having children before getting pregnant?
Not everyone does understand enough, but I think there's enough information, support and advice available to people who want it.

*How would you react if you were pregnant now?
Cry. Then go to my friends house and cry some more and then talk about my options and who I have to tell (the father obviously, but not sure how soon I would be able to tell my parents)

At what age range do you think it is best to consider having children?
I say between the ages of 18-30. By 18, you're legally an adult, so if your partner has a good job, then it's definitely good to have a kid.

Name two ways of not getting pregnant/getting someone pregnant?
Abstinence and birth control

Would you like to go through pregnancy yourself?
In the future, yeah...when I have a job and a good partner

Would you consider an abortion?
No! I'd rather have my baby and live with it!

Do you think that people understand enough about pregnancy and having children before getting pregnant?
Not everyone does, but I think there's enough help to go around

How would you react if you were pregnant now?
I'd freak and cry! Then I'd tell my parents, cousins, and friends, and the father.
