I'm a non-weed smoker/stoner and I believe that it should be legalised.

Surely it is better than alcohol, because it doesn't have the mental/physical addiction that alcohol does.

Does anyone else think the same?

I don't think it should be legalised. I see no concrete reason why it should be.

I do not smoke weed but i support it being legalized. You see so many clinics opening up for marijuana up anymore anyway and their taxing it just like they do tobacco so why not? If they open it up for the general population they could make a killing off the taxation alone. Alot of money.. not to mention if you have stores selling it then it will eliminate the stupid little stoner teenagers selling it at school hopefully. Plus, marijuana does have healing properties in my opinion, and if someone is high they are mellow not aggressive like a alcoholic is aggressive.

I just think restrictions shouldn't be so harsh.

If it was legal the government could control how strong it was etc.

In Holland the government have put that much control on it, bud is now pathetically weak.

Why do people keep on selling weed (like in my country)?

This is because of POVERTY.

I don't smoke weed but I'm 100% for its legalisation, I really don't see any downsides to it's legalisation, especially if it is given the same laws as alcohol has. There are plenty of reasons why it should be legalised, such as;

• It has medicinal purposes.
• It is an efficient resource that can be used to make paper and clothes.
• Legalisation would bring the gouvernment billions of pounds
• It is non-addictive and causes less long term harm than either alcohol or cigarettes
• Legalisation would mean that more focus could be put into stopping people using harmful and potentially leathul drugs.

It already (sort of) is here in MA. If you get caugh with under 3 ounces its like a 100$ fine.

But yeah, I totally support it. I mean, I have in the past smoked pot. But I don't anymore.
