I dont smoke it, but i think it should be legal. People do it anyways, and sometimes put themselves in dangerous situations to get it. Its not really too too bad so...

Either of you ever heard of Alcohol? Or tobacco? Either one of those make you think "That could help people!"?

Alchohol is both mentally and physically addictive, and Marijuana is only sometimes mentally addicitve. Depends on the person.

Haha That's the argument around the local high school. It's cheap this way.

So. I suppose you've never seen someone drunk? They usually seem to like it. That's why alcohol is legal.

Two very good points. The taxation added up to like an estimated $14 billion in the US or something? And Marijuana wouldn't cause fights like in bars, but rather the opposite.

Wow. That's sad... I didn't know that. Last time I smoked it up we had a stale 1/16. Got two of us high.

This is one of my favorite topics.

Here's some easy reasons to legalize:
-Taxation money.
-Stop drugs wars. (Mexico, near US border I believe)
-Almost all drug dealers would be out of business.
-Use of Marijuana may very possibly go down, especially in teenagers. It's "cool" because it's illegal.
-Studies have shown people that start smoking marijuana often don't smoke so much tobacco, or at least don't have cravings.
-Police forces could focus on much more important tasks.
-An extremely healthy alternative compared to Alcohol and Tobacco.

Downsides:

i dont smoke the stuff but i dose the world some good and isn lethal
i have never tried it and never want to but if i had to chose a drug to use it would be WEED

It should be Legalized Because: *Ahem*

The government would create thousands of jobs with the legal manufacturing of it
It should be regulated under to same rules as Alcohol, i.e No consumptopn in public places or in workplaces etc.
The government could make alot of money taxing it
The crime behind drug rings would go down
The police could spend time solving REAL CRIMES
It is not lethal, and nobody has ever died from an OD
It is nowhere near as dangerous as Alcohol and Tobacco.

But then we would have to pay taxes on weed, like the one we pay on cigarett.

I think for the people of don't smoke it, legalisation of marijuana would be good. (for the reason you just said)
For people who smoke it, it wouldn't really change anything. (cause they would buy it at the store instead of from some guy)
And for the one who sale it, it would be kindda really bad. (no point in it anymore)

I don't smoke but I do support complete legalization. Well maybe not complete but up to a gram or so.

i support it. it will make us alot of money off of taxes.
but weed truely gets you nowhere in life

ehh for some people but in other cases.. i know people who can get really far in life with smoking.. it just depends on the kinda person you are.
i also know that it helps people with cancer because my grandpa smoked it and he felt a lot better when ever he had some.

nahh im just talking about some of the people in my school.because they are all burnouts. i didnt mean it that ways
