Hi guys,

I have a 13yr old mate who is a boy, he is quite overweight for his age, whenever he does sport, he comes past me in the changing rooms, and smells of a musty pee smell, a kind of stale/old pee smell. Is this normal for him? Or does he not wash? What is up? I know he don't pee himself.
Please help.

Advice as to what it may be?

He may be having some hygiene problems although I wouldnt mention this to him as it would cause embarrassment for him.

Maybe throw him a can of your spray after PE without making a comment and he may put some on if it would make you feel better.

There is no need to point these things out to him nor be concerned.

If he is overweight, he pretty much wouldn't be able t help the scent alone. Nobody can tell you what the exact problem is.. They can only infer from what you're posting. Maybe he don't take showers, or maybe he have a low personal hygiene level.
