Ok, so I was wandering if it's possible to develope mild asthma overnight? Before going to bed I noticed an irritation in the centre of my chest, then woke up with a tightness and minor pain. It felt like, you know when you've had a bad cough and your chest feels raw? Well like that only I haven't had a cough.

Well, I'm sure astma wouldn't develop overnight, over a long period of time maybe. Go and consult your GP, best thing to do in my opinion.

I used to have bad asthma but over like a year it just disappeared

i really doubt it but go to your GP and get checked out. its possible you have a cold or a chest infection but you just dont have the coughing symptom.

I doubt it developed over night. I'd go and see your GP about it ! I had a minor pain in my chest
area a while ago and when I went to see the GP they said it was just an inflamed cartilage so it
wasn't that serious or anything I just had to relax for a few days.

Hmmm yeah, you're probably right. Thanks guys, I dont think its asthma anymore, its gone away now, I think it might have been stress enduced because I had A levels at the time. Thanks xoxox
