Default Need help towards healthy and staying thin eating.

Hi there, I have a question about what to eat after the gym.
I have been working out 2-3 times a day maybe more and I'm trying to help myself get better eating habbits. I have been suffering from an eating disorder on and off since grade 10, which no one knows about. I'm am highly determined to stay thin, but I want to be strong and healthy. I feel guilty everytime I eat, but I am trying so hard to just keep it healthy without straving myself, then binging and going to the bathroom. I'm sick of being that girl. Its frustrating. Instead of going to a doctor I feel like I can help myself since it hasn't been an on going thing since grade 10, just on and off with always exercising.. but now I'm in my first year of university and I noticed myself getting worse.
Today is the first day I am trying my new dieting with eating right.. but today I had natural oatmeal with an oatmeal apple muffin, along with an orange after the gym. I feel like that is so much to take in.. I instantly felt guilty, I fast walked home while keeping my belly tight hoping that would burn off the carbs.. and right now writing this, makes me feel even more guilty..
please help me, what sound I eat after the gym to stay thin and healthy?

I don't think it was, she was just being truthful and it's best you know earlier rather than later. :]

I now you are new, that's why I told you.
It was not unnecessary either. I was telling you not to double post topics.

Be patient, someone will reply to your actual post.

And don't feel guilty about eating.
Eating is a part of what we are, we need it to survive.
It sounds like you were doing fine with eating healthy, personally.

After the gym it's important to eat right after to keep your energy up.
Protein would work. This can be found in meat but also in Oatmeal and some cereals.
Fruit also works.

Don't work out 2-3 times a day, that happens to be unhealthy and is an over-work out.
It takes a total of 48 hours for your muscles to heal after working out. That being said you need to let your body rest after working out.
If you wanna work out everyday then I suggest this, but in any order so long as you give 48 hours for your muscles to rest:

- Arms
- Legs
- Stomach
- Cardio/Areobics
- Arms
- Legs
- You get the picture.

Be sure not to over-do it either. Don't start out lifting too much as this could damage your muscles. Also don't to too many reps. 10 - 15 reps is usually a good starting point.

You just have to stay focused. Make yourself a chart or some form of a reminder.

Also, eat without feeling guilty, just keep reminding yourself that food gives you energy.
Calories are actually a good thing. Fat gives you endurance and more energy to burn.
