Hey guys/girls. Lately i've found myself getting more horny lately than usual (i don't know the scientific name for it) and it's startng to piss me off. I don't think masturbation has much involvement with it since i haven't even done it in near enough two years.
What i really wanted to know was, is this caused by something i've done or is it just a phase or something and will blow over soon enough?
Would you mind telling us your age? It may help us give you a more accurate response.
In regards to the question, it could be just a phase. There's certainly been times where I've been more "horny than usual". I think a lot of people go through a similar situation, especially in their 20's which, so I've heard, is around the time people are at their "peak" sexually...or something like that.
May I ask why you haven't masturbated in two years? Masturbation is, believe it or not, healthy for you, so unless it's asked your religion/beliefs or you're incapable due to medical reasons, I don't see the reason. In all fairness that's a rather personal question, so I don't expect an answer.
Agree whit Kirk , could be also for not having a girlfriend? or maybe , your body is sending you a message, like he needs something. .. i dont kow , anyway its was worst if you didn't felt anyhting at all , try to relax more or have sex , plus masturbation is healthy (:

Thank's for the warm welcome.
I'm actually 14 years of age, and the reason i dont masturbate is because i don't really find it that good to be honest. But going back to the original topic, it's happend before around 3 weeks ago or so, but the whole event of this happening only really started just recently
Well, the "Phase" is called "Puberty", and it lasts until your about 20 or so. At 14, what you're noticing is the beginning of puberty, all those hormones create that urge you're referring to as horniness. As you get older, you get used to it and adjust to it, it won't be quite as prominent or bothersome. A lot of guys (girls, too) deal with it by masturbating, it relieves sexual tension, that feeling you're finding so unpleasant now.

And welcome to the forums, I'm Sam!
I don't think i'm at the beginning of puberty since my voice broke around a year ago lol . I've done research on things like masturbation and there are lots of articles that suggest it's not as good for you as people say, causing things such as a rise in things like sexual hormones ans also making you become addicted.

This is not true.
There is no harm to masturbation, as long as it doesn't interfere with your responsibilities. There are no long term effects to it, no side effects nothing bad...masturbation has been extensively studies for a long time and no one has ever found any negative reaction to it..except the guilt and shame that nonsense like you've found inaccurately reports! You cannot become "addicted" to a bodily function, be it masturbation or eye blinking or urinating.
It's OK to not masturbate, but the drive, the urge that causes the 'horniness' you're describing is biological, it's caused by forces beyond you. If you choose to not masturbate, try to adjust to the 'ok-ness' and normalcy of the urge behind it. At some point, you might want to be able to use and enjoy it!
